Catalogue Something.
Pick a topic and catalogue the information in a publication. Everything we absorb is edited by the nature of its delivery, but what are we absorbing and why? Consider how your catalogue can/can’t be understood, accessed, and articulated. How does your catalogue frame your content?
My concept displays all the front covers of British newspapers dating back to September 10 1994, my birthday. In order to achieve a catalogue of information, I decided to create a visual booklet that shows the different components of a newspaper front cover. Each front page of the nine newspapers has been printed on 112 GSM translucent paper and the white sheet is Amber Graphic 110 GSM. The reason for printing the newspaper on translucent paper is to expose the coloured grid system behind. The colours all denotes a feature from the front page.
Each section has been separated to view how each newspaper differs from viewing articles, images, general information, sizing etc
