The brief was to design and produce a well made considered book from the chosen list of five films. The main aim is to interpret and understand the context and content and relay this information through typography, layout and imagery.
The film was ‘La Jetee’ by Chris Marker 1962, my concept was based on 'Lost in Translation' by exploring the use of language. The script was translated from French to English however, reading it in English you never understood the true meaning as written in French. Sometimes things are better when kept in their original language that only a native speaker would fully comprehend.
